The club AGM will be held at Leamington Domain on Sunday 22nd September 2019. All Welcome.

All Breeds & Crossbreeds Carting Day
22nd September 2019, Leamington Domain, Cambridge.
Entries $5.00 per dog taken from 10.00am - 10.15pm
Carting from 10.30am and concludes at 1.30pm.
Coffee Cart on site.

Carting from 10.30am and concludes at 2.30pm.

The under cover venue allows us to hold this event if it is raining.We will not be supplying food but there will be a coffee cart adjacent that has food and coffee available.
Bring your dog along and hitch them up.
Coaches there to assist, carts and harnesses there to borrow.

**Dogs cart at discretion of committee**.

Dogs under 18months can be harnessed to pull a sled but not a cart. Handlers must be 16 years old or over.

Some dogs take to carting very well but a very few do not. You won’t know until you try.

The health and welfare of participating dogs is foremost to the organising committee.

Bitches in season on the day can not participate in this event. 

Dogs cannot participate if the have been exposed to any infectious canine disease in the 14 days prior to this event.

All dogs on short leads always.

October 2018 - Annual General Meeting. Attendance of all club members is encouraged.

Annually we hold our Battle of the Giants Match Parade and our Championship Show and we attend public events.

Our Battle of the Giants is a totally fun weekend where St.Bernard people get together with the owners of invited breeds, the Bernese Mountain Dogs, the Newfoundlands, Pyrenean Mountain Dogs and Leonbergers for a great time.
This is a relaxing weekend that involves your dog family too.
You can stay for the weekend (pre booked - sold out last year), or visit for the day.
The camp is fully catered and the rooms heated.

3pm Friday 22nd - 3pm Sunday 24th June 2018 - 36th Annual Battle of the Giants. - Thanks to all who attended this year.

Where - Mangatepopo Camp - SH47.(between Turangi and National Park township).

Timetable to be advised, and for the next Battle of the Giants we have another change of format – It will likely include a
Quiz Night, Auction, Battle of the Giants Games, Fundraising, the Battle Xmas Dinner, Secret Santa and Invited Club Events
(eg. Group Walk, Carting Tuition and Competition).
The theme for the Fancy Dress is yet to be decided.
